Hello, I’m Silver! I’m a translator interested in sharing the novels that I read with everyone! I mainly translate Chinese since I’m a native speaker.
Translation is a passion project that I started doing in my free time. I enjoy reading a lot of novels in Chinese so I really wanted to share it with everyone plus it also helps me brush up on my reading skills!
If you want to support my translations, please feel free to donate on my Ko-Fi page!
My Translation Process
How I Translate
For transparency, I use MTL for the base translation, then I go line by line, revising it based on my own comprehension. This helps me keep my translation as accurate as possible without spending a lot of time focused on wording. It’s still not 100% accurate since I need to ensure that it’s understandable in English, so I change sentences for readability. This can mean splitting the sentence into multiple sentences, adjusting the wording, choosing words intentionally, or changing the formatting.
